After I had posted the picture of Kristine on the haystack with the pumpkins on Facebook, Ima asked me if I could do her senior pictures. For photos, I honestly only use it for travel and capturing moments, but I think this is the first time I’ve been asked to do a real photo shoot. Since I was doing this as a favor and there was no money involved, it really lessened the pressure. Luckily, things worked out pretty well. Ima was really photogenic and did all the poses with really little instruction. I’m sure not all shoots are like that, lol. I did run into some difficulties along the way, especially with balancing out exposures when trying to get the UT tower in the picture… I felt it was almost impossible to balance the strong ambient light reflecting off the tower along with the on-camera flash. Using flash outdoors is still something I need a lot of work on. Anyway, I was able to turn the pictures around that night and Ima was incredibly grateful. She got a 100+ likes on a bunch of her posts, so it seems like other people liked it too, lol.
